Students 7th grade and above What: Reality Check Manhasset Chapter Where: Manhasset Secondary School Faculty Cafeteria When: Every Wednesday at 7:30am Why: Come and see the photos from our recent Boat Ride on the Nautical Princess with other RC teams from Nassau and Suffolk Counties. What is Reality Check? Reality Check is a group of teens who won't stand by and allow the tobacco industry to manipulate us. We are not against smokers, we're against the industry that deliberately goes after us in their relentless effort to addict us to nicotine in order to replace their dying customers. What will we do? The Manhasset chapter will- write letters to directors, producers, actors and studio executives to speak out against tobacco product placement on film; attend LI Reality Check events (like the 2/22 Day of International Action); hang posters; wear Reality Check gear to spread our message; join the State Youth Board |
