Students 7th grade and above What: Reality Check Manhasset Chapter Where: Manhasset Secondary School Faculty Cafeteria When: First Wednesday at 7:30am Why: Great student leadership opportunity and its a FUN, worthwhile organization! What is Reality Check? Reality Check is a group of teens who won't stand by and allow the tobacco industry to manipulate us. We are not against smokers, we're against the industry that deliberately goes after us in their relentless effort to addict us to nicotine in order to replace their dying customers. What do we do? The Manhasset chapter- writes letters to directors, producers, actors and studio executives to speak out against tobacco product placement on film; attends LI Reality Check events (like the 2/22 Day of International Action); hangs posters; wears Reality Check gear to spread our message...
