Read about the many parents who have been part of a CASA Coffee.
Small meetings called “CASA Coffees,” give parents an opportunity to
share ideas on how issues of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use affect their
children and how they can work together to monitor and combat problems
they identify.
The aim
is to bring together the parents of kids’ “social clusters.” Many
parents, especially at the middle and high school levels, have never
really met and talked, even though their children are in constant
communication.
