Parenting Through the Summer: How Do we keep our teens
safe, but still let them have fun?
At a CASA training meeting earlier this year, parents asked CASA for
practical ideas on how to deal
with teen parties where alcohol is served. CASA listened
and is hosting 3 seminar/workshops to help provide answers to that and
other risky situations.
This format is topic-driven. The first Seminar was outstanding. Plan to

Breakfast/Training Meeting was held for CASA Sector representatives on Friday, April 24, 2009.
Speakers discussed success to date against initiatives to sell alcohol
in more venues, Kick Butts Day activities, and a working session was
held to learn communications skills within the community towards CASA

Butts Day" Movie Trailer (created by our very own Youth Council), food and drinks,
give-aways, and lots of community coming-together. It was at the EOC on
